The Youth Rehabilitation Service aims to assist young in developing positive values, setting life goals, acquiring necessary life skills, and building positive relationships and social competencies, to enable them to integrate smoothly into society.
Service Scopes
Individual Counselling
Academic or Employment Referrals, Emotional Support, and Family Intervention for both rehabilitated youth and their peers.
Case counseling support and referrals for youth with a history of substance abuse.
Providing crime and drug prevention information for non-Chinese-speaking youth, along with individual counseling and vocational referrals.
Groups and Programs Our programs include sports and music groups to enhance self-confidence and interpersonal skills, leading to better social interactions.
Facility Visits Our program conducts routine visits to the custody of the Correctional Services Department. We engage with residents and share positive messages.
Service Targets
Discharged young offenders who have completed a one-year statutory supervision period in Sha Tsui Correctional Institution and Lai Chi Rehabilitation Centre.
